Impact Snapshot

Our youngest, Kai, was diagnosed with autism at about age three. I was in between deployments to Iraq. It was an incredibly stressful time for our family. As many parents with children with special needs know, it’s just too heavy of a load. If you try and go it alone, you’re going to exhaust yourself and it’s going to tax your marriage and tax your life. The help that Children of Valor gave us was instrumental in our success, not only in Kai’s care and education but also in our marriage. By supporting Children of Valor, you support some very dedicated and highly trained people who love their family and love this country and want to continue serving.
