Children of Valor: For the Children Behind Every Mission

Learning Never Stops, Even When Duty Calls

Children of Valor provides critical educational solutions for children in the Special Operations community and promotes awareness of the unique challenges shared by all military families.

What We Do

Children of Valor is the only nonprofit solely dedicated to delivering consistent, expert, and tactical academic and developmental support to the children of U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF). We offer immediate, personalized services that move with the family—bridging the educational and emotional gaps created by the high demands of SOF life.

With trusted partnerships, proven outcomes, and programs built for mobility, we empower SOF children to succeed—no matter where they serve or how often they move.

From tutoring and learning disability support (e.g., dyslexia, ADHD) to cognitive testing and IEP advocacy, we deliver flexible, child-centered interventions.

Impact Snapshot

“The constant moving during my high school years created learning gaps that affected my academic performance. Children of Valor stepped in with testing to identify the root of my challenges and I was able to get the necessary support to graduate from high school and go on to USC where I graduated with honors.

Thank you Children of Valor for your support and generosity!”

Too Many Goodbyes

I was pregnant with our youngest son when 9/11 happened. In the first ten years of his life, Daddy deployed 11 times.
